Jeff Hardy intervient alors pour annoncer à Chris Jericho que si il le bat ce soir, il pourra revenir dans la course au titre. Teddy Long officialise ça et annonce que si Jericho gagne ce soir, le match de Judgment Day pour le titre de World Heavyweight Champion deviendra un Triple Threat Match.
